Good Evening Folks, yesterday's fishing was excellent!
My husband and I started out fishing fairly early, however we didn't get a bite until 2 1/2 hours later. Then, it was on and popping. Blue catfish hitting each rod, almost at the same time. We were having a great time. Had to go back to the car and retrieve a few large containers, as there was just so many large fish. We ended up stopping at 23.
We gave 3 away and went on home.
Late this afternoon we cleaned the 20 fish: fillet them and kept the ribs sections for smoking.
Well, I certainly hope you all are getting out there and are catching as well.
Peace! :)

Revised: I forgot to mention that when we arrived at the pier, the tide was as low as I've ever seen it there. The fish didn't start to bite until the tide started coming in. Five different times as we were reeling in our fish, the line broke off - very strong tugs\pulls. There are some massive and strong-sized fish in these waters! Also, one of the fish that my husband and I cleaned had a whole alewife (bait fish) in it's stomach. It was approximately 8 inches long.

Best wishes to you all and Happy Springtime!!!
