Going down to Solomons tomorrow wanted to know if anybody heard about any action down there?

Have not heard anything specifically from there, but croakers should be in the area. The first croaker checked into the Tackle Box in Lexington park was caught April 28th at Hog point, which is at the mouth of the Patuxent. So croaker have been there for two weeks now. I would also try some cutbait for rockfish.

did not make it as planned but my folks went down and between 3 of them caught 12, hopefully the weather warms up so numbers can increase.

Asian grocery stores have them down here in va. And one I frequent has most other bait fresher and cheaper than the bait shops. Last year I needed some spot in a pinch to go drum fishing it was 2$ a pound there 2.50 at the bait shop near my house and after giving the Mexicans that work there a nice tip they saved the heads for me for the next two weeks. Went in every other day and left with a bag of spot heads free of charge, guy even had iced them down for me.

Harris Teeter has east coast wild caught heads on shrimp.

4lb box run u 17 n up. depends on how big u want the shrimp. plus u will always have bait on hand with the left overs
