Point has changed alot. That nice deep water on the south beach has all filled in, deep water on the north beach but it is shoaled in on three sides, and off the end, there is an island at low tide. I didn't see much over last weekend other than a few scates and dogs with the rare pup, (like 2-3 per day). Hope they get a storm to fix the sand back before Christmas.
This past weekend, we found fishing to be really slow also. On Saturday, we did manage to find some fish for the cooler about a half mile or so south of the point. There were some decent sea mullet caught on both shrimp and cutbait but you had to cast far out to get them. A keeper flounder, black drum and puffer were pulled out of the same hole.
