Anyone care to venture a guess as to when the first big reds will show up at Sandbridge?

Sometime before or after the time Sand Flea decides to go try to catch them!

Will be on the Eastern Shore this weekend trying to find some. I am new to Reds but I have read a lot. Time will tell.

I will guess Sept. 21 only because that's when I will be there!(I can only hope) What rigs and baits are the most common for the drummies at Sandbridge?

Anoceanaway the rod is called a Heaver fairly heavy surf stick. The rigs is typically Fish Finder rig wir 8 oz of Lead and a 8/0 to 13/0 Hooh on about 6 inches of leader. Bait is fresh fish chunks (Spot, Mullett or Bunker).

Shouldn't be long--the first one has apparently shown up at Assateague. When did they show last year? Wasn't it the last week in September just before the pier got washed out?
