I have been dying to go out and catch a mess of spot.
Kent Narrows and Solomons has always been great
this time of year. I am looking for those double header bites!
Any first hand reports? Thanks.

it depends if you are speaking about boat or pier. from the pier i hear PLO and the NB area and from boat its been wide open from VA to above the bay bridge.

gwaud,

I was speaking from pier/shore. If the spot start
running real good down in Solomons or near Sandy Point
I will probably rent a small boat and go out for them.

I will have to give NB a shot. Thanks for the info.

I was invited to go to a friends house on the water, close to solomons. i caught a cooler ful of
spots looks like hey are starting to heat up.
i also caught some throw back stripers .

spots were delicious soy sauce, lemon and onions over a nice bed of rice.

HI LONGRANGER,

last year this time ,i would be taking some nice blues home to
sit on the grill. i have'nt really been trying to catch them since
i dont see many catches lately . this spring weather pattern has thrown everything off . i catch a spot use one for bait and seems that i'm just feeding the crabs . let me know is they start
hitting at sandy pt .

good luck with your seminar.

all good things come to those who wait !
where da blues !
