So what's the weirdest fish you've caught on a sand flea? Also, what's the best or your favorite fish that you've caught with one?

For me the weirdest fish that I've caught on a flea is a stargazer. Best fish would be a 29" striper

I haven't had crazy luck on fleas for some reason. I think my best catch on one was really my nephew, after I baited his hook with a big, egged up flea and tossed into a trough nearshore. The current was stout and I told him to walk down the beach, keeping the line in front of him. He got about 100 yds and I saw him waving for help (he was yelling but couldn't hear him for the wind). Ended up landing a ~3lb black drum.

If you'll add "tiny pieces of fresh shrimp on tiny hooks" to the mix, I can add in upper-slot puppy drum, 3lb pompano, numerous flounder,

The girlfriend captured a $60 sea mullet in a tournament once! I’ve caught some upper slot puppy drum on big fleas.
