Long ago when it was a new adventure every time I went fishing. These crappie and many more like it were caught close to North East MD.

Woooow North East I have caught many a nice yellow perch there when running. I have never timed the crappie bite right though. That's only 45min drive for me

I use to fish that area a lot. Ice fishing was big time back then. Caught a lot of bass through the ice. Also hooked some very large rockfish/stripers while ice fishing. Not many were landed. Me and my fishing buddy John Rebusto use to be in Herb's Tackle Shop in the town of North East a lot. Yea I remember those days but did you know they stopped having yellow perch day at the harbour? I might have to try other areas around there now last year was my 1st in many years fishing MD waters and I will say De will definitely take a back seat for a few years at least
