Fished this morning on outgoing tide from 0530 - 0745, lots of bait fish in the water but nothing wanted the faire I was offering. West wind (light), heat and deer flies, maybe next time.

Dragged a 50 inch cobia thru the suds at 130 pm on a bunker head only hit I got all day cant complain!

for cobia did you use a drum rig or a higher floating set up like for blue fish. I know boats sight cast so they are in upper water, I was just wondering if they also hug the bottom. Thanks for your response.
