Got there at sunrise and fished with cut spot and fishbite bloodworms. Left 2 1/2 hours later with the same bait on the hooks not even the crabs wanted it. Watched fellow fisherman have the same experience. Maybe next time.

Same for me on Saturday morning...broke my long standing habit of NOT going to Sandbridge without bait...so finally caught two roundheads on FBs, which the crabs liked a lot. Saw nothing, but Mr.Ranger said that some of the folks that were on the beach when it opened caught sharks. That was up near the most northern crossover.

Yes sirs, Back Bay has been terrible this year. I been twice with nothing but skates and everyone I talk to have had no luck at all. IMO BB is best in the fall anyways, so I wont be back until then.
