Fishe S curves last night, plenty of small black drum and a few puffer. Headed down to BB in the morning, tons of blues, a few drum, three trout, 12 or so puffers and a big round 48"er on the last cast on a blue head. People were lined up between the walkovers fishing the night shift. I had walked south a mile or so.
Glad the trip was made.

Yes...
Fished last night, same location, with half a dozen live mullet. My wife and I were out for a quiet night watching the meteor shower. Had only one rod with me...got a SCREAMING run on a mullet head, couldn't hook up. Beach conditions PERFECT at our location.
DHL, you must have been a smidge south of us...congrats on the paper fish!!!
Sorry...I reread your post, and it seems you got the drum at BBNWR??

Niice. Glad to hear somebody caught something. knew i should migrated more south.(lazy) Sand bar really change the spot where i normally set up.
