Went to Bass pro today, what a mad house. Just had to see the rods and plastic. Wife saw a nice sweater. They had a great selection of in expensive plugs, 2.99 each. Saw some decent rods, but extremely pricey. Some nice combos though for specks. My Kid got a kick of watching the fish swim around in the aquarium.
Funny thing happened. Picked up an 8 foot rod, black in color, shook it, seemed sturdy enough, looked at the guides, fuji all around. Then I looked at thye sticker-$209.00 G-Loomis! Instantly put it back on the rack, glad I didn't check the tip on the floor.
