After reading Sandcrabs bass report, I got fired up, so I went bass fishing in one of the many lakes in MD. I fished the 7"purple worm for about two Hrs. And stopped fishing around 8:00AM before the 95 degree Temps. show up.Did pretty good. Caught four bass flipping in the open spots in the weeds and along the dock. Can't cast, too much floasting weeds on top of water.

Nice Andy. I have fished that pond several times. I also hit the spillway when the spawning season is under way.

Sweet! Looks like the purple worm worked great. For my area, SMALL (less appendages is always better for me anyway) is better to get through the tangled spatterdock and heavy slop.

I'll try my community pond tomorrow morning. Always do well there. Some lunkers too - a couple of 5, 6 and even a 9 lber were caught and released (community pond rules although I release all bass anyway) by me and others this year...

Time to rig up and get those bass out of their shady spots. Going to start with the SK Rodent...

WOW! 5-6-9 LB. bass in your pond. Yes I release all bass too. Most people release bass now days. I wonder how the bass tournament guys are doing on the P River today.

Nice! Very jealous. I'm hoping to get some saltwater fishing in this weekend, but if not, I'll be hitting up the community pond as well. Any fishing is better than no fishing at all.
