It all depends on weather and wind directions. I have seldom got a great deal of pomp action until late May or early June. Of course as I said, there are variables here that come in play occasionally. Just my 2 cents

Ill be in the Buxton / Hatteras area in a couple of weeks. Are any of you guys seeing any Pomp action? to me the water still seems a little cool. But, I am not a local. Just wanted to put my feelers out there..

several weeks ago they were already being caught at fort fisher, very unusual…may very well be up there in several weeks in this new era of global warming and rising ocean temps…
