Fished very rough and windy conditions on Friday. Caught a small shark, puffer fish and 3 bull whiting. Had a great time . Didn't see much of anything else caught. Used local shrimp from last year.

I was thinking about going to Apache on Friday since I usually try to fish a pier the first day down to grab some bait and see what's biting, but the sun was shining in the morning so we hit the sand instead. Wish I would have gone to the pier after all because the surf was pretty rough. Glad you caught something though! I didn't see anyone around me catching from the surf.
