I just got back into town after being gone for work for 7 weeks. Usually try to fish Dam Neck as there are less people to fight thru and its easy to get to.
Anyone go yet?

Been slow for the most part few blues here and there, cant get any worse I hope, been slow going this year............geo

Went for a couple of hours yesterday, caught a few small weakfish. Beats getting skunked. Guys next to me were catching the same.

Went out there about two weeks ago and caught some nice Roundhead right behind the breakers about 20-30 yards out.

Where on the beach do you fish? I know when you come to through the gate and go straight back and the beach is right there, but where have you had the most success?

come down to the access and walk about 500 yards to the right caught a couple down that way last year.....geo
The red circle is the general swimming area, I'd avoid that at all costs. I park in the lot indicted and access from there. As for fishing, from the yellow line all the way down towards Sandbridge, as far as you want to walk is fishing. It just depends on how you read the beach and how far you are willing to walk in the sand.

Ok. I was down the end circled in red last time I went. It was at night so it wasn't any people swimming. So next time I'll try behind Hopper Hall. I've seen the entrance back there before. Thanks Sepefrio.

I usually go to the south end of base which butts up next to sandbridge.
