Looking to do some freezer stocking this weekend, but don't want to waste my time or the money if the perch aren't running yet. Anyone been catching any white perch in the SoMD area that's willing to share the general area?

You missed the main run on the perch. They showed up early this year. There are still some in the rivers but not like they were a month ago.

Yeah, not looking for the river runs. I'm mainly talking pier fishing for them. For example I catch quite a few of them in the St. Mary's during the summer. Just wondering if people are seeing them hanging around the piers yet.

I did very good last year of the piers in Oxford MD. That in the Tred Avon River. I thinh I started in June, and caught them all summer off the piers.

Any one know when they start hitting after and away from the spawning grounds in the rivers and the Bay?
