anybody regularly go to rodanthe during the summer or fall? i would like to talk to some people and trade hotspots. i go every summer and october. hope to hear from someone.
I go on a week lonf trip to rodanthe every summer during August. The pier there which you probably already know is alright, but the lizardfish can get annoying at times. But, if you go about 500 yards south of the pier the croaker fishing is great.
We go every year in Aug. and again in Oct. I always fish ramp 23 just outside of Salvo. As soon as you drive onto the beach deadahead is a nice bar with a deep inside hole and it's not a bad cast over the bar. Always had a goodtime there and never been skunked. The key is have fresh bunker...tightlined, Hat80
Hey Husky, Where do you stay by the pier? We have a house over on North Holiday Blvd. About two blocks from the pier. Wish I was there now, they are picking up some nice Blues at ramp #44 the point....Tightlines
Like I told you last night Hat, I am gonna stay at your place now that I know you have a place there. I went to your website and saw that you have a nice boat down there as well. So, I'll be using your boat while I'm there! Thanks for being so generous.
No, I am staying in a cottage that Hatteras Island Resort rents out.
