I walked the river and fished for bass this morning. Only caught one 3 LB. bass and one pickerel on the purple worm. Then fished for pan fish with this little crappie jig and caught a few pretty big bluegills, a few little yellow perch and a few white perch. Fishing not too good, but the weather was great.

digiRAMbo, The bass was released. Have you ever ate large bluegills? In my opinion large bluegills are one of the best tasting fish. This is the time to catch some to eat.
