This may not be news to you all, but the Kingfish are slamming the surf. Just spent 10 days there and with the exception of very sunny days which seem to send them deeper, the Kingfish were great. SAT pm as the sun was going down, I was catching them on every cast, sometimes two at a time. Great fighters for their size and good eats too as long as their meaty enough to make it worth the effort. Bloodworms worked best for me.

I enjoy reading this post and support P&S, so I wanted to pass this along.

Tight lines and good luck!

Yes, kingfish is also called roundhead in some parts and sea mullet in others. Whatever they're called, they fight strong for their size and taste good too.

AI is Assateague Island on the Eastern Shore. The VA section is accessed through Chincoteague Island off Route 13. The MD section is up just south of Ocean City.

Tight lines!
