Where's a good spot to throw the line in and have a beer or two and not have to worry to much about "the man".;)

Disregard that last post...
I'll just have to use my best judgement.

It is difficult for them to arrest you if.

1. The beer is in a secondary container and

2. There are not empty beer cans where you are fishing.

Other than that use your best judgement. I used to live at Chic's beach and they would vary on enforcement from year to year. Some years if you kept it in a huggy you were fine. Others . . . . well other years it was a bad idea to walk across the street to a friends house with an open container.

i have been drinking on the duck in side as well as the wall off great neck for over a year, i've been stopped by vb police several times for license checks but never had them say anything about the beer.

Tom,
what do you mean by secondary container, like a sports bottle
or something like that.. and I see what you mean about the cans
and bottles. When I leave I take the empties.
I hate when people leave bottles and cans around...
Too many people disregard nature...I'm not one of them.

You can fish better with a buzz.
You can just sit back and imagine the big one takin' the line.
