Fished Romancoke from 2pm-8pm. Lots of rays and snapper blues mixed in with a few bigger blues (15"-20" range). Plenty of bait out there. (spot & peanut bunker). The cownose rays were terrible. Must of scene a dozen hook ups throughout the day. A few were even landed with help from a fellow with a gaf.

2 things that do not mix with Romancoke Pier.
* pack and plays should be outlawed.
* children under 5 should be kept on a leash. I saw one child smacked by a 3 oz sinker and another one almost get hooked on the cast.

**Overall, beautiful day with plenty of fish.

I would not think that a pack and play would fit on that pier.

I hope those gaffed rays were kept!!

I am always astonished by those who try to catch a fish and then have no way of landing it. I'll admit that I have been pier fishing with out a net, but I am always sure to become friends with the guy who has one.

Nice report. Glad you were able to get out. A 12" blue can add some excitment to anyone's day
