Fished yesterday from about 6:00pm until 10:00pm. Tide had just flipped when I got there and I fished the outgoing tide. Water was clean, but not clear. figured it was gonna be a shark day after I reeled in my first pinfish, or lack there of at 6:30.

Well after that nothing two exciting, caught about 5 whiting that were all fryin size and one really small pompano. fished on and was packing up my gear when I look up and see my bigger rod getting a bite, and what do ya know, a nice little shark

After all the excitement he arose on the beach, I decided to go home.


bait - mullet, shrimp, and sand fleas
wind - out of the south about 5 knts
water - clean not completly clear
tide - falling
tourist - everywhere

At least ya didn't get skunked. Thanks for all of the reports. I think I'd have to hit the piers early to try to get away from the tourists.
