Surf fished this AM, got about 6 medium-small whiting on FB and fleas. Also a small flounder, a ray, and a bunch of pinfish eating my fleas or I might have done better. Water turned crystal clear during incoming, was hoping for some pomps.

If anyone knows where a good bite is, gimme a holler!

Went through something similar at Topsail a couple weeks ago with regards to pinfish eating everything. I found a bait cast right into the wash stayed pinfish-free prior to catching a couple small whiting. Pinfish activity seemed to ease up at first and last light too. Good luck!

I got on the beach for an hour yesterday (work) top of the tide ramp 49. Made three cast and got three mullet 1.5# to 2.2#. Road for an hour to find the right spot
