Went out last night armed with minnows and caught my first flounder of the season at Gloucester Point. It was a 16.5 incher and was released. That was my only bite, seen plenty of croaker and a few spot being caught on blood worms or squid.

Fished Gloucester Point on Sunday with a friend. Caught about 5 small croaker, 4 small spot, one puffer, one 18 inch black drum, a brown sea horse about 2 inches long, an empty clam shell, and an old sparkplug  .

Was using bloodworms, shrimp, squid and spot.

The sparkplug hit on a piece of shrimp :D

[email protected] plug hittin blood worm!

A sea Horse? COOL! I think I am going to invest in a salt water tank as soon as my money gets right and put some of the bay specemins I catch it there. I want a puffer fish for a pet! lol...they look like something you would find in a tackle box.
The sea horse would make a nice addition.

LOL - I didn't even know there were sea horses around here. It was attached to a piece of cut spot when we reeled in. Wasn't hooked, just stuck to the bait. Little, brown, ugly thing.

Nobody knew if they were good for bait, so he/she/it was thrown back
