Last night I caught an 18 inch Flounder in the Thorofare. If you don't know where that is, it is right in the Ocean City bay. There is a channel and then a sandbar so it is perfect because they wait on the sandbar until they see bait fish swim by and then they go after it. I was using a bucktail at first (I just learned how) but I didn't get anything. I tried the deadly double in purple and it worked perfectly! Caught 2 keeper flounder one around 17 and one 18. Then I kept catching smaller ones! In total I caught 9 flounder with 2 keepers! For anyone fishing for flounder, I recommend the deadly double in purple because it is amazing! I work on a fishing boat for flounder and my captain caught 4 keepers! Overall it was a great day! Wishing everyone tight lines!
