MD DNR has been reporting black drum out of the Honga River the last two weeks. The fellow who posted the report was right about one thing -- you never know what you might attract when chumming. Black drum are underfished in the Chesapeake, especially the Spring spawning run. Chessie drumfishing could rival Delaware Bay/Slaughter Beach if the charter captains weren't so "rock" oriented.
