Another thought about the possible beach closure

Just one more way it will hurt an already suffering economy. For example if the 1500 or so people that showed up for the rally were to no longer to purchase a licence. The state would lose $30 each for non-residents. So if all 1500 were non-resident even though I know they weren't but if they were this would equal $45000 in lost revenues. This is not even a true fraction of what else will be lost.

Great idea. Let em know where it hurts. But IMHO some of the ultra-tree-huggers could care less about money, the economy, etc.
