The proving ground says about 187-thousand gallons of partially treated sewage bypassed secondary treatment. It was discharged into Kings Creek near Bush River.
The Harford County Department of Health and the Maryland Department of the Environment were notified.
The public is being advised to avoid water contact and fishing in Kings Creek near the Bush River for 30 days or until the water returns to normal.
