    S curves and new Bridge

when the new bridge is completed and people don't have to drive the S curves, does anybody know how the dune washout and flooding on the north end is planned to be handled.

You'll probably see a new Inlet on Pea Island that comes and goes, similar to where the temporary bridge was for over 15 years.
The road bed is supposed to be removed once the Jug Handle bridge is complete.

If by the north end you mean just south of the OI bridge, there is no plan other then to keep pushing the sand back and piling it up to make new dunes.

Has anyone noticed that after the Terminal Groin was built, the beach to the south has taken a beating?
