    Bush River 7/26/19

I don’t know what took me so long to post this but last week I took my first fishing trip of the year. It was also my first time trailering and launching the boat completely solo. But any fished outgoing tide by the bush river train bridge for a couple hours and caught about 8 catfish and a half dozen white perch. 2 of the catfish were 16+”. Looking forward to more trips coming up!

Toilet bowl cleaner will get most the stains off your boat.

Nah not too worried about the stains. As long as the crabs and fish don't mind, I don't mind

Fish along the shoreline especially where there is emergent grass or wood for the white perch. Cats will be there as well.

Nice pictures and glad you caught some fish.

I've fished that area before for catfish and did really good. Lots of snags around the bridge so be prepared to donate some tackle.

Yeah I lost a couple rigs around the bridge, but it happens. Looking forward to going back there soon.
