Headed to First Landing State Park

Camping at FLSP this weekend, my daughter and I want to try some surf fishing. What should we be targeting and what should we use? Looking to fish at sunset or after.

Best bet would be a high-low rig, and squid, shrimp, or bloodworm (Fishbites or the real thing). Almost anything out there will those things (croaker, spot, whiting, etc.).

We got some last night- bloodworm fish bites last forever! I’m guessing this is a croaker- even tho none of them were croaking?
