    Grand Isle Bridge fishing

Looking for some general info about fishing from Grand Isle Bridge.

Info like - is there any bridge side office to buy pass for fishing from the bridge, how much it cost, any bait shop around, do we need LA fishingin license, etc.

Any info and advice will be great.

    Thanks in advance.

There is no office, cost or any staff/security on either end of the bridge. As far as bait goes there is Bridgeside Marina right next to the east side of the bridge and a few more bait shops on the mainland (west side). All keep typical daytime hours only, bait can also be caught with a castnet from the bridge at times. You will need a basic and a saltwater license and if you decide to net your own bait make certain your net is an eight foot radius net or less.
