I'm impressed by the possitive response. I'm looking forward to meeting and fishing with everyone.

    catman and Caliyellowtail:

If you each walk from both sides, how can you meet each other half way as there is no bridge span at each end of the walk? LOL I know that there are couple hidden responses, but I don't think every one get the point. Just want to clarify that to prevent possible future agreements (SMILE)

There ya go again Catman, posting my pic without my consent.

Might have to cart a 1/4 barrel of Heineken out to the end of the pier.

Saturday Sept 12th. I'm getting there around 2:00AM and setting up @ the last light pole on the Talbot Co unty side. High tide is 4:10 AM. I'll probably fish till 6:30 AM - slack tide or when the bite turns off.

Never been there before but I could duck after folks lay down to go to bed and get back home the next day by 7AM or so and be good to go. Never done pier fishing either, always sand. Surf rods OK? Do I need a net or gaff or something to get fish up? Sorry for the dumb questions but it sounds like fun!

Hey there are no dumb questions, only the person that's to dumb to ask them. Your surf rods will be fine. I normally use a 7' or 8' med action rod. The only net that's effective is a drop/pier/bridge net but don't run out and buy one. There's usually someone close by with one who will be happy to net a big fish. I'll have one with me. Hope you can make it.

Alright I'm in! Are 10 footers and above a waste of time? If you soak BW how much lead are you using? My 8ft is for lures typically up to 2oz.
