Hit the 421 South today checking out some old fishing haunts. The camera was left at home so they are in the cooler now....Eight of them all about two to three pounds.

I hear they taste better in the cooler than on the camera Ryan. Wise move.

I'm not asking for the old haunts......

But, was there any special lure or technique?

Not to be a smart arse but......

I caught them on a variety of lures; it was your basic cast out and slowly reel in raising the tip and dropping it action......

no problem. Thanks for the info.

Sounds like the famous 3/8 ounce jig head plus green grub/fin-s/Gulp shrimp retrieve.

Just trying to determine if its a specific Mirrolure or something that I don't have. Eight different Mirrolures in my box and the grub combination out catches 'em 10 to 1. Of course we all fish the best with what we have the most confidence in.

ahhh yes. the tell tale slimy, watery goop that becomes your cooler when you fill it up with a bunch of specks...pretty work
