Just got back home after spending a week fishing at OCP. First off, shrimp are VERY hard to find, if any in that area as well as mullet. Sea Trout are bitin excellent from around 5:30 am to 8:30 am. Live shrimp seemed to work the best. Gave those new shrimp gulp baits a try, save your money because even when the trout where bitin every cast, they wouldn't look at the gulp bait. I used 3 and 4 " shrimp natural color. Blues are also bitin, but smaller size was the norm. Whiting are there in small numbers also. Seen a few spade fish caught as well as a few bonet head sharks in the 3 foot range. Seen a 4 foot blue tip caught from the pier and was gaft in the mid section and threw back, wonder if he made it? Find yourself some shrimp and get out there early, you should be able to limit out on trout !! No kings caught during that week.
