Headed to Emerald Isle in two weeks, June 14th. How is the fishing there now? Plan to fish in the morning and evenings from the beach. Booked a gulfstream charter on "Sensation" out of Atlantic Beach and was thinking about adding a near shore or back water charter. Anyone have a recommendation on either.

Chris Sewell https://www.facebook.com/fisheadcharter
Rob Hall http://hallemincharters.com/index.html
Jeff Cronk http://nccharterfishing.com/
Rob Koraly http://www.sandbarsafari.com/

And if you want to kayak fish https://www.facebook.com/NCPIERMAN3

Any of the above will give you one fun day of fishing and will work hard to put you on fish. I gave you 5 because at this late they most likely will already be booked. Best chance will be the kayak trip. I guarantee you will not regret fishing with Tim.

Decent whiting bite at the start of incoming tide, otherwise it's a bunch of pinfish at slack and roaring tide. (I'm fishing w/ shrimp.) There are some menhaden pods but none are willing to come within jig head/yozuri casting distance from the beach.

Blues and Spanish being caught from Bogue Inlet Pier in the early morning and late afternoon. Price went up this year, 2 rods at $12.50.

...and if you want to King fish or plug off the end it's double that.
