Wife may want to spend the this Jan and Feb in Myrtle beach. Iv'e been there in the summer surf and pier fishing , But not the winter. Question; is there any good fishing or any fishing from the surf or piers during the months of Jan and Feb. Were to go, what fish are running. Help a Yankee, before i get down there and there is nothing to do. If i can't fish in a great place like that I'll go nut's. Thanks.

Ain't nothing going to be around the beach except dogfish and rays. the piers that stay open will have some small black drum, croakers and silver perch around twith some dogfish, skates, and rays.

Some fish will be in the creeks and rivers.... but you need a boat.

Fishing's pretty good two states down that time of year and one heck of a lot warmer too!
