Carolina Beach fishing
We are going to be at Carolina beach from Sat.-Sat. Which has been better lately....pier or surf? And is the surf fishing very good North of the pier? Any recommendations as to where or how far to drive out on the North End?

I think the whole beach is good, north end is great too but I think its more about finding the right spot in whatever little area your in. Someone else can explain it better than me but if you watch the waves for like 1-2 minutes you can see where the low spots/sandbars and outflows etc are. Keep moving around your baits but pat attention to this stuff when you hook up or get bites. I'm going down from sun to thurs and I'll be fishing 2 spots from when I lived there. Right at the beach at the end of the gas station road when you first turn toward the north end and I also fish just above the pier on the north end. Post a report or 5 while your down there and I'll do the same. If you see us come say hi. Young blonde guy w or w/out his gf and about 6 poles.
