Orest,
Hopefully we'll get that law passed here in Delaware in '05. It seems that RFA has hit a wall here in DE and there are a lot of enviromentally friendly groups working against us. Michael Doebley has been a big help and hopefully this won't be an issue much longer. :)

Did you my other post?
Check this out

45% of US live within 55 miles of the sea coast and the shores of the Great Lakes.
Yet - Only 1% of our sea coast and Great Lakes shore is PUBLIC.

Too many homes/condo's being built on the shores.
Did hear what happen to the West Coast Regional Direcotr of RFA?

In the current Salt Water sportmans magazine on page 42 there is a small article on the bill signed in MD and the RFA Internet address.
I went to the site and read about Randy, not a good way to go.

This " Freedom to Fish Act" will help keep fishing areas open to Recreational Fisherman and prevent the Environmental Groups from using their power to turn our fishing areas into MPA's(Marine Protected Areas). This act will not be addressed again in Delaware until 2005. Hopefully with the hard work of RFA DE we will get it done. :)
