Where is everyone headed to

Im thinking bout heading out very early;either Saturday or Sunday;Rockfish is just starting to heat up.Blues and Flounder are still out there and if your further south or east Red Drum and Trout(Gray or Speckled) are a slight possibilty(I wouldnt rule them out). So where are you headed?I might end up on a lower eastern shore bank or bridge.

I couldnt tell you;Im more worried about the cost of the trip;not the weather. As long as you have the tides, moon phase, and wind working to your advantage;success is not limited to one location.East winds and high tide can cause great surf fishing for one thing.winds pushing bait into a rocky shoreline on the east side of the Chesapeake Bay might start a blitz at sunrise.High waters can bring fish onto a shallow flat.Look for either bait or current cause the fish aint too far behind.Get bait/moving water you have alot of feeding fish.Well lit areas are the ticket at night.Salinity is a factor too if your fishing the Bay Like I will. The ocean is too far for me;I will surely would love to fish AI for Bull Reds but I will take whatever the Bay throws at me.

yeah I hear you but, and there is always a but, I don't think baby boy is ready for no holds barred fishing yet. Maybe we'll go after some cats and bass.

Good God, Tommy, How much did that monster weigh.

Last weekend on the Chester was a...well, cluster you-know-what as to start I forgot to put the drain plug in the boat and half sank it @ the launch I bailed out the jon with a coffee cup and knee-boot... as I'm minimalizing and don't yet have an electrical system. This winter....I hope!

Then came dealing with the small-craft warning and whitecaps in the bay-jon when I was upwind and down current. Striking a submerged piling almost threw me outta the boat as I approached channel structure which made for a memorable approach to my study at my latest bottom feeder honeyhole.

I'm trying again tomorrow where weather/tides/structure cooperate for bottom feeders...and not to have as many DOH! moments

PS. I'll likely throw out a few crab traps on the same trip to gauge what shows up.

33-34 lbs I believe. I love that shot . I haven't fished nearly as much this year but have fished quite a bit the past few weeks.

I live on the Eastern Shore so that gets boring after a while. I'm carp fishing southern West Virginia this past week...heading back to the 'Shore tomorrow.
