Virginia Virginia anglers are blessed with waters that hold stripers, red and black drum, and cobia. Miles of fishable beaches and plenty of piers make the mouth of the Chesapeake the place where northern and southern fish meet.

Take it with a grain of salt. Glad your geting n2'em. The stripers and specs are thick. Not as thick at my haunts but beats sitting in front of the computer and not catching. No need to spot burn.

Fellas.. its striper and spec season. Check the weather, tides and barometric pressure. Fish structure. Fish the cuts. Fish the inlets. Fish in the morning before work. Fish when the family is asleep. Don't be an internet fisherman. The signs are there. Any more hints, I'd have to cast your lure and catchem for you. We are surrounded by water.. get off ur tush and wet a line!...

thanks guys...I fish every night and have worked very hard to find what works and when. All im doing is giving people a little motivation to get out there and catch em. because believe it or not they are definitely here. A bunch of fish from last night had sea lice on them...you know what that means!

If I knew how to post pics to this site I would put a few up. I think I need to be a paying contributor to do that.

Actually it is possible to post pics by just having a registered account. You post your pics in photobucket. Then just copy the IMG code. The code will show up when you hover your pointer over your uploaded photo and the IMG will be the last code available. Then just copy the code and paste it in your reports. Simple at that. Then you can show em who's really gettin the cows.

If you have any trouble just shoot me a PM.

don't hate the player hate the game.....golf321 has been putting in work on the sand to find those fish so don't hate if you can't catch em. golf321 if you are not out there you are not going to catch them. i hope you kill them every night. dont stop posting your reports, because reading reports like that makes me wont to run right out to the sand.

Not to hijack the thread but.....Ya, Jerry I actually was able to get a little time off to visit the family and was able to land this bad boy about a week ago. Got to spend the day with my little bro out on the boat and worked the islands over for some stripes but only got a couple short strikes, but it was mid day so the fish were not hitting hard and it was still early. But the flattys were still there.

Fish that size will take anything from small storms (surprising what the big ones will go for) to large topwater plugs, to big eels.
