Ft. Fisher Day Trip this Saturday - Bait?

Making a day trip to the Ft. this coming Saturday (11/7). Is the mullet still running in the surf and/or in the creeks at the crossovers? I'll grab a bag of frozen on the way to be safe.

Early weather reports show a sunny day at 70*. Looking forward to a nice day outside.

Not much left in the way of bait. I did catch one mullet which I in turn caught 2 rays; which caught me a 6' sand bar, but I would definately buy some bait it took me 30 minutes of throwing a cast net and that was all I got.

Plenty of bait in the back if you look hard. You might have to go north to get it thick but I am here know and have a cooler full after about 10 minutes of tossing

Finger mullet at Island True Value Hardware at Carolina Beach and at the Trading Post at Kure right before you get to the Fort---$4 a dozen
