Looking for a few rod building supplies

A young man in my youth group has a rod he's been asking me to fix a guide on. Of course I said I'd be glad to, just bring it over to the house sometime. He finally dropped it off a couple of weeks ago and I got to see what I was getting into. Turns out it's just a cheap 9' Silstar, but it was one of the last things he and his dad purchased together before he lost his father 8 years ago or so. I thought about just buying him a nicer surf rod for a graduation present, but I decided that this one had too much sentimental value to him for that so I'm going to fix it instead. If anybody has a few spining guides for a rod like this (not sure of the lure rating, but I'd guess maybe 3-4 oz.) and a partial spool of thread or 2 let me know. I hate to place a big order for this 1 rod, because I won't be building any more anytime soon.

You should post this in the Rod/Plug/Rig building forum.

Am sure there a few builders who would be more than happy to help you.
