    Unbelievable Perh Fishing

Fantastic afternoon on the river. It was probably the best day of perch jerking I have ever had! Fished from 1330 until 1800 and had an unbelievable number of fish with lots of nice ones. I threw back bunches of 10 inch fish. I even threw back ones that were bigger than some of the ones I kept. Next time I measure instead of eyeballing! Lure of the day was fluorescent red/orange dart with glow green tail and one of my flicker spoons. Water temps were 60.4 or so. They have not all spawned yet but it won't be long. Now I have hours of video to edit as well as fish to clean!

Awesome Jerry, congrats! I guess I know what I'm doing today. Back to the river!

Thanks Andy. They are up in the rocks in about 6ft. of water or even less holding in the eddies behind the rocks.

Sorry Mr. Andy haven't been fishing as much as of late. I did manage to get out during the week and managed some nice Carp. Think the next 3 days, I will be putting some time in. See you have still kept a line wet. Tight lines and bells ringing

Took my neighbor back on Friday (19 May). The water was down at least three feet and fishing was good but nothing like it was a couple of days before when the high water had the fish concentrated in the eddies behind the rocks. We still brought home 20 or so very nice perch for my neighbor. No pictures and no videos either because I still am editing the ones from Tuesday. Besides, I am not sure anyone is interested in perch fishing videos anyway.
